Reeves Reed Arboretum

Watchung Reservation
Located in Mountainside, there are many trails and activities for hiking through the reservation, including easy trails for young children.

Echo Lake Stables

Known for its beautiful and scenic horseback riding trails, this is a perfect activity to view fall foliage.

High Point State Park
Take Route 23 approximately 7 miles north of the town of Sussex, NJ, or 4 miles south of Port Jervis, NY.
The view from High Point Monument, at 1,803 feet above sea level, is the highest point in NJ and offers spectacular panoramas endless forest foliage. There are numerous trails and picnic grounds as well.

Palisades Interstate Park
There are almost thirty miles of trails in the Palisades Interstate Park in New Jersey that offer numerous opportunities for hikers & walkers to view fall foliage.

Stokes State Forest
The views from Sunrise Mountain along the Appalachian Trail encompass farmland, undeveloped forests and mountain ridges, providing spectacular fall views to those who make the climb!
