Drop Off Toiletries Drive for Homeless Solutions at Madison Area YMCA
February 4 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
An event every day that begins at 8:00 am, repeating until February 12, 2021
Drop-Off Toiletries Drive: Homeless Solutions | February 1-12
- Dates: 01 – 12 Feb, 2021
Our Y is hosting a Drop-off Toiletries Drive, Monday February 1 through Friday February 12 to help support Homeless Solutions in Morristown. Our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness need your help! This is a great way to help others in need while keeping non essential travel, particularly outside our home communities to a minimum.
Please drop off toiletries (list of needs below) at our Family Center at 111 Kings Road Madison.
We hope you can join the Madison Area YMCA in helping these neighbors by donating toiletries and supplies that they greatly needed at this time. The Homeless Solutions shelter provides meals to its guests, who are mostly women with children. But during the pandemic, many guests are without employment and lack funds for some essential toiletry and sundry items such as these:
– Antibacterial wipes
– Disposable gloves (medium and large)
– Antibacterial hand soap
– Toilet paper
– Paper towels
– Garbage bags (tall kitchen size)
– Laundry detergent

MORE ABOUT HOMELESS SOLUTIONS
Founded more than 30 years ago, Homeless Solutions addresses temporary homelessness by operating the County shelter and supporting shelter guests to return to work and independent living. Homeless Solutions also provides affordable apartments for guests in transition out of homelessness and develops and manages a variety of affordable rental homes throughout Morris County to enable low-income adults to avoid homelessness. Among these properties is the Mt. Kemble Home in Morristown, which provides permanent housing to single low-income senior women. Homeless Solutions also offers its guests an array of support programs and workshops on topics such as financial literacy and job seeking.
